Looking Forward to 2010 - 2011 School Year

The Membership meeting on June 8 was the annual business meeting of our association. At this meeting the PTA's fiscal budget for the 2010-2011 school year was adopted and new officers were elected. Our President is Lisa Harris-Eglin, Juliet VanKampen the Recording Secretary and Laurie Fay the Second Vice President, they will all serve for two year terms. The other members of the team who are in the final year of their terms are Melissa Mitchell, First Vice President, Vicki Wroble, Corresponding Secretary and Kathy Kelley was appointed to fill out the rest of the Treasures term.

Two members of the Executive Board, Lisa Harris-Eglin and past Presdient Lisa Neuman attended the New York State PTA Summer Leadership Conference in Utica. There they attended numerous workshops and can not wait to bring thier new knowledge back to the unit! Come see them and other members at the PTA table at the Menands Village Picnic on Wednesday August 18th.
